About Dr. Latif
Dr. Latif is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Endocrinology. After having received his degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan, Dr. Latif completed his Internship and residency training in Internal Medicine and his Fellowship at Division of Endocrinology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN where he was awarded the James R. Givens Outstanding Residents Award in Endocrinology. His passion to take care of patients is evident in the wholesome, scientific and personalized experience that patients receive in treatment of their endocrine disorders. Dr. Latif currently serves as Medical Director, Practicing Physician, Principal Investigator for research trials at AM Diabetes and Endocrinology Center in Bartlett, TN. In addition, Dr. Latif is the Medical Director for Camp Hopewell, a camp for children with diabetes in Oxford, MS. He is also the principal of a start-up developing an online diabetes mellitus management system.
Over 14 years ago, Dr. Latif began the Sugar Run 5K in Collierville, TN to benefit JDRF’s Fund a Cure, where all money donated is used for diabetes mellitus research.
